Jianping Guo, Assistant Professor and “A Level Young Talent” at School of Law, Xi’an Jiaotong University. She holds PhD in Law from Xi’an Jiaotong University and University of California at Berkeley. Her research interests lie in public international law. She has engaged in a diverse range of research projects, including IUU fishing management, marine policy, and capacity development in the construction of China’s Maritime Silk Road. She has published papers on various subjects relating to the above areas both in English and in Chinese in highly ranked journals such asMarine Policy, Ocean Development & International Law, Asia Pacific Law Review. Dr. Guo is a regular speaker at both domestic and international academic conferences.
